The milling of projecting connections
or of any other obstacle blocking the correct
downflow inside the piping, is carried out through
a robotized electro pneumatic cutter. This special
milling system is installed inside a truck-shop
fully autonomous and able to work non-stop 24
hours a day. The Mobile Unit has been created
in 1988 in duplicate, and it is unique in Europe
for functionality and equipment. The second robotized
cutter aboard has been realized in 2003 and it
has been studied to carry out connection pipe
fittings through resin-bonded “cap”.
The truck shop can make daily either routine
or special maintenance, even for little repairs,
and it guarantees the maximum work continuity.
Besides, a special remote control-tester can
identify the wearing of some components, and
can immediately determine the cause of any breakdown,
whenever such breakdown has not been previously
settled by specialized staff aboard the Mobile
Unit.

Last generation equipment and
great range of cutting or milling implements
always on board, make the Mobile Unit ready to
cut even passing steel tubes, to mill cement
or gres fragments, to mill cement or mortar castings,
to cut projecting connections, and many other
interventions on the piping in a precise and
quick way. In case of re-opening of connections
after a Phoenix or Trolining relining, the cutter
is equipped with some sensors that facilitate
this operation in a secure and very accurate
way.
