2001 we have been realizing the
first system for pipes and micro pipes laying
inside sewer pipes during the relining.
This system utilizes a robotized truck that “combs” and
settles pipes and micro pipes (F.O.) along the
inner wall of the sewage, avoiding all obstacles
on the way. This system, called TERMITE (Idroambiente
patent), allows the guided positioning of pipes
to be encapsulated between the lining and the
old pipe in continuous, as the liner is moving
forward. In this way we can foresee the laying
of more free pipes, of any flexible material,
also in sewer pipes with connection chambers,
deformations, section changes or other obstacles,
which would generally stop any planning.

TERMITE can lay free pipes, besides
cables, thus allowing, just with one intervention,
to have many free concessions at disposal of
any future purchasers (no bonds with technology).
We can install in each chamber a timing chest
connected to the estates through a little no-dig
perforation or through a little trench limited
to the pipe width.
LThe investment of relining will be paid back
just after two-four concessions, all further
concessions are profits. TERMITE is the only
system that can make business out of the no-dig
reconstruction of the city sewer system. |

| Advantages |
 |
> The laying of pipes/micro
pipes does not compromise the structure of the
relining.
> Pipes and cables are not subject to stress
by corrosive agents or to hooking in case of hydrodynamic
and hydromechanic cleaning to come, e.g. with chain
cutter used for the extraordinary maintenance of
the sewer system.
> Pipes are not fixed to the vault of the piping
through dowels or bands, so they are not influenced
by present or future deterioration of the piping
itself.
> Pipes laid are not fixed to the bottom of
the piping so they cannot be eventually damaged
by the passage of bleeder nozzles and they cannot
get “tangled” with intruding roots.
> Laying of pipes or micro pipes for the signal
harness in concession is routine for Termite and
this operation does not affect the cost of relining.
> Relining (the first step to redevelopment
of the ground) can be paid back after the first
concessions are granted.
> Pipe laying does not influence the times of
relining (both by air or by water). |
