Rib-Loc strip winding system
takes place continuously and can create circular
pipes and manifolds from Dn 200 mm up to 3000
mm.
When the characteristics of the pipe are ideal,
the continuous strip relining guarantees invincible
speed and saving, since it can be applied also
in presence of water inside the pipe and in continuous
during one, two or three shifts, fitting in perfectly
with the timing of external activities connected
to relining.

Supply and transport of the yard
are not influenced, since the system requires
just a proper trailer for the handling of the
reel and for the hydraulic feed of the laying
machine working inside the access chamber or
directly in the pipe.
Rib-Loc is a cold relining system; it does not
need polymerization heating (apart from the variation
Ribine which foresees the band thermomelting
in continuous) and therefore it doesn’t
give rise to any problem during its application
in close or thermosensitive areas.
At the end of the laying the new pipe will fit
perfectly against the old damaged pipe, thus
allowing the perfect and easy sealing of the
heads and the immediate tightness test under
pressure.
In case of very exacting works with particular
lengths and diameters, the laying machine working
inside the pipe or in the chamber can also put
up with unexpected water flows (for instance
in case of storm) without endangering the immediate
resumption of laying works.
